As an industry leader, we are seeking an ETL developer to be part of an exciting initiative to replace existing data warehouse systems with Oracle’s proprietary data warehouse solution. This platform will manage internal corporate data storage and deliver insights to empower our teams in making crucial business decisions.

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will use basic knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture. You will carry out following responsibilities as a Software developer.

Proficient in writing SQL queries for data extraction
Proficient in writing scripts using Python (PySpark) for implementing algorithms
Understanding the requirements
Understanding the Technical Design
Developing the code that aligns with the technical design and coding standards
Conduct Peer-Code Reviews for early detection of defects and code quality
Documenting ETL processes and data flow diagrams
Optimizing data extraction and transformation processes for performance
Performing data quality checks and debugging issues
Conducting root cause analysis for data issues and implementing fixes
Collaborating with more experienced developers on larger projects
Participate in the requirements, design and implementation discussions
Participating in learning and development opportunities to enhance technical skills
Test storage system after transferring the data
Exposures to Business Intelligence platforms like OAC, Power BI or Tableau
